Early English Oak Credence Table

About the Item

A credence table is a small side table in the sanctuary of a Christian church which is used in the celebration of the Eucharist. In this case, the table has been fashioned of dark lustrous oak and can be folded in to create a demi lune, suitable for against a wall. It can be opened easily and the gateleg base is sturdy and stable. All original hardware, along with great oak color and patina, make his unusual table a real find. Measurements above are for the table open. When closed, it measures 16" deep x 33.5" wide x 30.5" high.
