19th Century Baroque Style Desk

About the Item

Excellent Dresden Baroque desk, circa 1870 On three sides and in the top plate walnut root on solid softwood. The curving, straight, and one-piece body, framing the open knee-box, is curved in the front. In each of the halves there are two pushers over the legs. Decorative gilded brass fittings and bent handles.
