Antique Rustic Country French Desk
About the Item
Antique Rustic Country French desk is the ideal choice for the executive who wants a more relaxed, casual feel to the office. Great as a home office desk as well, it is light and airy compared to older cabinet style designs, but still offers three spacious drawers which provide more than enough storage for 21st century requirements! Hand-crafted from solid oak, it features pegged mortise & tenon joinery, and consists of a sturdy framework for the drawers supported by four large turned column style legs, which are in turn joined together with a variation on the timeless "H" stretcher which provides sturdy support as well as a footrest if needed. The drawers are accessed with rustic steel bale pulls. The top writing surface is solid 1" thick oak planks ready to provide generations of service for your family in the coming years!
