An English faux bamboo walnut desk from the late 19th century, with oval shaped top, two drawers and bamboo root style feet. Created in England during the third quarter of the 19th century, this walnut desk attracts our attention with its faux bamboo structure. An oval shaped top sits above an intricate apron with a dovetailed drawer on both sides, raised on four straight faux bamboo legs with root feet. The legs are connected to one another through an X-form stretcher adorned with a carved finial in the center. With its elegant lines and interesting decor, this English walnut desk circa 1870 will bring an exotic touch to any office or living room.
