Fabulous Rosewood Flip-Top Desk by Peter Lovig Nielsen Mid-Century Modern
About the Item
This is a breathtaking, rare, rosewood desk by Jens Quistgaard of Dansk for Peter Lovig Nielsen. It was made in Denmark and has gorgeous rosewood grain across the top. This desk features a unique flip-top that allows you to turn it from a desk into a table. It has two flippable drawer inserts in the upper flip-top portion and four drawers along the front. One of the drawers has a lock, but the key is missing. The backside of the desk has cubbies that would be hidden if you kept the desk against the wall. This desk measures 34"T x 64"L x 29"D and is 38"D with the top flipped down.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. This desk retains its original patina and is a bit faded as you would expect with a vintage piece. The rosewood has a rich dark grain and shows some minor scratches and dings. Original lock on the drawer but no key.
