Frits Henningsen Mahogany Desk, 1940-1950, Rare Model

Frits Henningsen 1889-1965. Mahogany desk with 3 drawers to the front. Raised on four straight, square legs with rounded corners on the outer side. An elegant and beautiful desk with fine details in a Classic, modern style that will never go out of style. Designed and produced in the 1940-1950s by Danish cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen. Presumably commissioned work (one of a kind). Frits Henningsen was both a designer and a cabinet-maker. He cared deeply about quality, and was uncompromising in his execution. Many of his pieces were crafted in his own furniture workshop, in central Copenhagen. Height from floor til under table : 63 cm.
