This Sheraton style writing desk stands ready to enhance any room or office! Featuring drawers on both sides, it can function as a single desk with extra storage or a true partners desk. This makes it great to use in the middle of a room. The main wood used on this lovely writing table is mahogany. A satinwood with ebony black line inlay adorns the drawer fronts and sides. Meanwhile, a Georgian style fan inlay adorns each corner. This combination of woods provides a classic and beautiful look that can go with just about anything. Tapered legs complete the look and combine with the inlays to give the piece its Sheraton look. Finally, subtle antiqued brass knobs adorn each drawer. Another fine feature of this Sheraton style writing desk is the brown leather top. Leather makes a fine work and writing surface, far superior than most other materials. The leather has been embossed and tooled in gold, furthering the elegant look of this writing desk. Both sides of the desk are identical and feature three drawers each. The central drawer of both sides has a pencil holder installed in the front. This handy addition keeps writing utensils from sliding around. All six drawers have been fashioned with sturdy dovetailed joints on all four corners. Also, they slide in and out very smoothly on their wooden runners. The quality of construction and the finish of this desk is top notch. Replicating techniques that have been used for generations have produced an heirloom quality piece of furniture here.
