About the Item
This calligraphy table, like all the highest quality pieces of Chinese furniture, follows the timeless principles of Chinese architectural design and construction techniques. It has bold strong lines, limited ornamentation, and simple double stretchers connecting its recessed round legs. Its complex mortise and tenon joinery reflects traditional techniques that have been used for centuries by the finest Ming and Qing-dynasty craftsmen.
