Scandinavian "A2" Multi Table by Bengt Johan Gullberg, Sweden, 1950s

About the Item

Multi table model "A2" designed by Bengt Johan Gullberg. Produced in Sweden by Gullberg Trading Company during the 1950s. Made from raw lacquered steel and teak wood. Good vintage condition with signs of use and age related wear/patina. The tables ingenious construction makes it possible to use on three different heights making the piece three tables in one. Lounge/sofa table 51 cm in height. Dining table/desk 73 cm in height. And console/bar table 97 cm in height. The metal base fits into the table top and locks in place in every version making it very stable no matter which option it is being used for.
