Shape Shifting Desk
About the Item
This desk is made from three walnut panels connected by two wooden hinges allowing the desk to alter shape, it can even lay flat for transport. Here it is shown with a 3/4" glass top. Can also be made with matching walnut top.
Because each table is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop you can influence all aspects of design, including size, wood specie and finish. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind. Just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand-cut wooden dowels.
