This highly refined desk that originates from Italy strongly resembles the work by the acknowledged master of Italian mid-century design Ico Parisi (1916-1996). His design language is characterized by expressive, lines and grained wood, reflecting his excellent taste for form and harmonic compositions. This eccentric table is constructed in a precise manner implementing geometric shapes and straight lines that contribute to its architectural appearance. Two compartments of drawers are equipped with curved handles that give the unit an embossed surface. The tabletop is executed in green vinyl and is finished with a 45-degree beveled corners. Clear lines with dovetail and box wood joints show an honest construction, having a strong visual impact on the design itself. All things considered, this desk attests the work of a designer and an artisan. The creator has a perfect eye for material use by implementing a warm-looking teak.
