Vintage Danish Mid Century Modern Teak Floating Desk Attributed to Svend Madsen
About the Item
Here is a beautiful scandinavian modern desk in teak manufactured in Denmark in the 1960's and reminiscent of Svend Madsen's design.
This special desk, recently imported from Europe to California before its refinishing, features a vibrant wood grain, a large bowed top with carved raised edges, two banks of three dove tail built drawers on its front, two drop down doors revealing cubbies+shelves+trays, a display-bookcase area on its back and a contrasting oak frame+legs+stretchers.
Excellent condition.
