Italian 19th Century Baroque Renaissance Style Carved Oak 13-Piece Dining Set
About the Item
A Fine and rare Italian 19th Century Baroque Renaissance revival style carved oak thirteen-piece dining suite. Comprising of a large rectangular center-pedestal dining table with four extensions and drop-support-legs at the end, the apron with carvings of entwined vines, ten dining chairs and two armchairs, all with an embossed leather backrest with figures of maiden wearing a helmet, carved figural corners and an ornamental crown. Circa: Florence, 1880.
Please note that this dining set has four additional matching pieces that are being offered and sold separately on 1stDibs (A large matching settee, a large credenza with stained glass panels and figural winged dragons, a matching server and a figural vitrine cabinet, each surmounted on both sides with a figure of a young fisherman holding a fishing net and a fish and a hunter holding his prey on the opposite side.)
