18th C. Swedish Small Rectangular-Shaped Tilt-Top Wood Table w/Original Paint

About the Item

A Swedish tilt-top table with its original paint from the 18th century. This antique table from Sweden features a rectangular-shaped tilt top which rests upon a delicately turned central pedestal column that terminates into a raised tripod base which is carved in shapely fashion, terminating into volute style feet. The reddish color is original to this piece, and there is a lovely patina and worn areas reflective of its centuries old age. This 18th century Swedish table with tilting top would work well as a small dining or cards table between a pair of chairs, or function equally as well as a lovely side table.
