An antique, circa 1870, French Provincial fruitwood farm house table with beautifully aged warm patina. Born in France in the 19th century, featuring rustic hand-crafted construction by a highly skilled but untrained farmer, simple utilitarian design, having a rectangular plank top, over apron fitted with three dovetailed drawers, rising on tapered stretcher-joined legs. Retaining original antique character and elegant European old world charm throughout, including evidence of old woodworm, some filled repairs, and typical wear consistent with age and indicative of use. Dimensions: (approx) 29" High, 75.25" Long, 36" Wide; Floor to apron: 20.75" High As warm and attractive as it is functional, having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a dining table, kitchen island, writing desk, library table, large center table, work bench, and more.
