‘Acanto’ Dining Table by Enzo Mari for Zanotta
About the Item
Sculptural dining table model 'Acanto' by Enzo Mari (Novara 1932 - Milan 2020) for Zanotta, Italy 1990. The design immediately catches the eye due to the asymmetrical sculptural base with the diagonal cross bar in the middle. A typical design of Mari who was in continuous research of new forms and meaning of a product, essentially like a researcher. Although the design is quite simple when studied, it keeps intriguing. The table has its original glass top with their characteristic points - typical for old hardened glass tops - which fits the minimal architectonic industrial design perfectly. In perfect original condition.
