Engraved Brass, Walnut, and Lacquered Wood Burlesque Dining Table by Egg Designs
About the Item
The Burlesque table embodies the playful spirit often evident in the works of Egg Designs.
For this table Egg collaborated with Kim Longhurst a South African illustrator to develop the burlesque design which is engraved into the solid brass top, a process that, due to the designs complexity, can take up to three days to complete. The Phallus shaped legs are high gloss lacquered and the table structure is manufactured in walnut veneer.
This table would work equally well as a dining table or a desk.
