Expandable Country Dining Table, Custom Made by Petersen Antiques
About the Item
This table is inspired by a Swedish country table from the mid-19th century. As it is shown here, it is made in flame birch, hand planed and assembled with two extension leaves (90"x 54" expanding to 120"x 54"). Please contact us for more images, options and cost.
Because each table is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop you can influence all aspects of design, including size, wood species and finish. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind, just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand-cut wooden dowels.
