About the Item

A beautiful French turn of the century Louis XVI St. Mahogany and ormolu dining table. The table is raised by six elegant square tapered fluted legs and one central square tapered leg each displaying fine mottled fitted ormolu sabots. Above each leg are fine fluted reserves flanking the straight apron decorated with a recessed design framed within a delicate most decorative wrap around ormolu fillet. Above is the beautiful French polished top showcasing the stunning Mahogany wood grain framed within an elegant mottled ormolu gallery. The table displays three removable leaves measuring 20" each with the table measuring 108" when closed with all leaves removed.
