Late 16th-Early 17th Century Welsh Oak Refectory Table

About the Item

Fabulous late 16th century, possibly early 17th century Welsh oak refectory table. Absolutely superb color and patina. The long planked top sits over a single hidden stretcher on two sledge feet, circa 1590-1630. The table is well preserved, and bears the marks of use and age, including being carved with the initials of a previous author and showing natural warp and wear adding to its unique ancestral charm.
