19th Century Swiss Hand-Painted Drop Leaf Table

About the Item

19th Century Swiss hand-painted drop leaf table is a celebration of the natural spring time beauty of the Alpine country! The rich forest greens are represented as the background, with contrasting brick red bordering and trim. Fully embellished on the frame, supports and of course the entire top, it features foliate scrolls framing an abundance of exquisite wildflowers in various arrangements. When the gate legs are folded in and the leaves dropped, the table is less than 18" deep, making it suitable for placement behind a sofa, against a wall, or just conserving space in a cozy breakfast nook. Leaves open independently to provide space for 3 guests on each leaf, making this an incredibly versatile addition to your decor. The vibrant colors will liven up any room, as well! Circa 1880s. Measures 29.5H x 17.5W x 31.5D: opens to 62W.
