19th Century English Jacobean End Table

About the Item

19th Century English Jacobean End Table was hand-crafted by able artisans from indigenous old-growth oak, and features a solid plank top supported by solid plank aprons connected on each corner with the top of four beautifully turned legs. It would be fascinating to see how the legs were turned using tools available at the time. The legs are connected below with a modified "H" stretcher contoured so that extra foot room is accommodated on all four sides. The stretcher is adorned with a single rosette at the center. Ideal for the library, in a seating group, or anywhere an attractive, convenient surface is needed! Circa 1870s Measures 28.5H x 42W x 26.5D; knee clearance 23.5H
