19th Century Rare Indian Carved Camel Occasional Table

About the Item

A rare large late C19th Anglo Indian Hardwood Camel Occasional/End Table of larger than normal proportions. The top consists of a carved octagonal top with foliate design and repeating frieze with finials. The top fixed to the bold body with carved rug design on his back, his head/neck rising above the top and the legs in a staggered stance. All raised on a plinth base with carved geometric design and terminating in bun feet. Excellent condition with no damage/repairs and rich colour and patina throughout. Circa 1900. H: 90 cm (35 7/16") W: 46 cm (18 1/8") D: 61 cm (25")
