English Faux Painted Table

About the Item

English faux painted table, has a faux painted bamboo border on top which is mimicked on the outside edges of the tapered legs. The brasses are eighteenth century and signed “HJ”, which is indicative of the hardware manufacturing firm “Thomas Hands and William Jenkins”, who had a brass foundry partnership in Birmingham, England from 1790-1800.)
