Extraordinary Midcentury Sculpted Bronze Table by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne

About the Item

Rarely seen cast bronze sculpted end table by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne in all original very good condition. The table is related to the Creation of Adam series which shows in sculpted bronze the figures of God giving life to Adam after the iconic Michelangelo painting. This table has a sculpted wraparound nude female figure in high relief, in repose with head bowed. The table is signed on the top surface, “Philip Kelvin LaVerne”. The table has been custom fitted with castors to facilitate moving. Condition: Please see detail photos. There are some age related scratches to the top surface which do not detract from the incredible presentation. The Table measures 15.25” wide by 11.5” deep by 18.5” high.
