About the Item
We are delighted to offer this pair of sublime bird's-eye maple ebonized side tables with gold leaf painted tops
These tables came from a client of mine who has recently sold one of their Chelsea homes, they had the house set up approximately 20 years ago for visiting family and friends to use when in London. The property was only ever used four of five times during this period, as such it has now been sold off
These tables were listed as sold for £5500 each, I can’t tell who made them but they are expertly made, hand carved from bird's-eye maple and then gold leaf painted.
In terms of the condition the ebonized finish has some light chips from age and transport, the bold leaf tops and round side pieces have age related ware, it all adds to the look and feel

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
