18th Century Welsh Single Plank Farmhouse Table in Oak

About the Item

Extraordinary Georgian welsh single plank oak farmhouse table, good colour, patination and wear to stretchers and top. Unusual decorative lozenge inlay most likely in holly on the apron or skirt. Some minor bowing of the top some drying splits to the top, braced (iron) to the underside. Wales Circa 1780.

    Repaired: Several repairs have been made over time in this table including iron braces to the underside, small patch repair to one corner. really wonderful wear and patination of use. Perfectly solid and useable. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading.
