19th Century French Burr Walnut Card Table
About the Item
For sale is a very good quality French 19th century burr walnut fold over card table. The top of the table is banded around the edge and has cross grain mouldings, the top then swivels to reveal storage space for cards and games etc, the top then folds over to reveal a shaped red baise, decorated with banding around the edge. The table stands on four cabriole legs each decorated with ormolu mounts which run from an ornate section at the top down to the feet. The table is in very good condition for its age and would grace any home.
