Rare Biedermeier Table
A very fine cherry wood work table of tripod form, the circular top opening to a fitted interior and concealed mirror, resting on elegantly shaped legs, each crowned with a parcel gilt lion’s head and ending in a parcel gilt paw foot, the three legs joined by a support stretcher with (replaced) flame-decorated mount, and the whole resting on a plinth over thin ebonized toes.
