About the Item
French industrial style work table, that had previously been used in a French Boucherie (butcher shop) for the last 100-years and as often is the practice, the table was repeatedly bleached for cleaning. We thought this could make for a great looking kitchen island, regardless of the cabinet style. Finding authentic, Industrial style good looking and functional work tables is becoming increasingly more difficult. The table structurally is sound and cosmetically you have to love original patina like we do, in order to fully appreciate the decades of wear and tear it took to give it this amazing appearance.
