Bausch and Lomb Laminate and Iron Optometrist's Table
About the Item
Straight out of the doctor's office in New York's Catskill Mountain region. The practice started in the early 1950s and continued right up till November 2023. Black iron powder coated base with two Bausch & Lomb metal tags. Light gray laminate top. The rectangular tag reads: Bausch & Lomb Optical Co., Rochester, NY, USA. The other is their iconic B&L guitar pick tag.
Good overall condition with minor cosmetic wear and losses around the painted wood edge. No visible cracks or chips to the laminate top. Wear consistent with age and use. The set screws and the crank handle all work smoothly and quietly.
Approximately 14.75" deep x 25.25" wide x 28.5" high. The top fully extended measures approximately 35.5" high. The base diameter is approximately 22.5".
