Vintage French Marble Top Polished Iron and Brass Mounts Butcher Pastry Table
About the Item
This large French pastry table would add the ideal amount of surface space to any kitchen. The "Table de Boucher" (or butcher table) has a polished iron finish on the base and features an ornate scalloped apron with intricate metal freeze throughout. The long table has beautiful scrolled legs and dressed with round brass finials and further embellished with decorative medallions and fittings. The elongated work table has a white marble top and a groove around the perimeter, which, (back in the day), was once used to catch blood as the butcher carved meat on the surface. Use this elegant table as a kitchen center island or as a narrow wall console in an entryway.
