Biedermeier Trio of Wooden Nesting Pedestal Tables circa 1910
About the Item
Beautiful, elegant Biedermeier set of three nesting or stacking pedestal tables made in Germany circa 1910. Wonderful pieces, slightly reminiscent of the style of Edward Wormley designs for Dunbar. Hard to date thes, but they could have been made between 1890s - 1930s as they fit within the Biedermeier, Art. Deco and Arts and Crafts style. In any case quite a rare set and beautifully made with thin, light and elegantly lathed/turned legs - appears to by Cherrywood with lovely black painted edging detail to each of the three tables. Perfect for displaying your favourite decorative pieces of pottery, ceramic or Murano glass. You could, of course, use them for flowers or flowerpots.
