Measures: Height 110cm, diameter 46cm
This fine pair of stands is crafted from ebonized wood mounted with gilt bronze. The stands resemble truncated classical columns. Each stand, raised on a circular base, features a cylindrical body mounted with gilt bronze elements: foliate swags along the top and acanthus leaf type motifs along the bottom. The pair demonstrates the elegance of 19th century French neoclassicism.
