19th Century English Oak Elizabethan Gothic Style Hand Carved Console Hall Table

About the Item

A elegant Elizabethan Style Oak hand carved Console Hall Table in the Gothic taste, made in England during the Renaissance Revival Period. The Renaissance Revival Sideboard is wonderfully proportioned and is handmade with solid English oak. The Elizabethan Hall Side Table has a one and a half inch thick solid oak top. The oak top rest on a decorative Frieze Molding carved into a spiral Rope with carvings in fluted channels. The front Facade is hand carved with a superb geometric pattern hiding three drawers that open by the hand carved Gothic Skirt with Tudor Rose Motifs. The solid oak drawer fronts and skirt are carved out of one board. The side panels of the Elizabethan Style Sideboard match the drawer fronts and skirts. The Renaissance Console is supported by four hand carved elongated balusters legs in a geometric design. The four carved balusters legs are joined with a thick molded H-stretcher.
