19th Century French Style Painted and Gilt Iron Pedestal Martini Side Table
About the Item
This elegant, antique pedestal table was crafted in Southern France, circa 1880. The martini table features a thick central turned pedestal stem over three curved legs ending with small scroll feet. The serving table is topped with a round surface from later addition, decorated with a raised rim around the edge. The chic, sophisticated drink table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated black painted finish with gilt accents. This versatile gueridon would be a wonderful small occasional table in any style room.
