Antique French Inlaid Napoleon III Side Table / Vanity 19th Century Marquetry
About the Item
A very nice Napoleon III side table inlaid with marquetry 1860-1870. Standing on curved and blackened legs with connecting platform.
The beautiful instrumental inlaid top and floral inlaid shelf at the bottom are masterfully crafted from various woods Mahogany Olive etc.
All edges are decorated with gorgeous copper ornaments and inlaid wood lines.
Under the flap there is a storage compartment and a mirror. The table has a working lock and key.
The piece shows some sings of age as shown in the pictures.
In short, a beautiful piece of furniture with warm patina , stunning craftsmanship & attention to detail.
