Art Deco Side Table with Mosaic Shagreen Top & Sculptural Aluminum Base
About the Item
This elegant Art Deco side table was realized in the United States, circa 1925. It features a rectangular top composed of a mosaic of triangular shagreen segments in a refined ecru color. The top sits on a sculptural aluminum base composed of tubular streamlined segments that adjoin a strait support- at a perpendicular angle- that connects two of the cylindrical legs. With its unusual juxtaposition of elegant, modern materials and clean lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It is in very good vintage condition.
