English Regency Mahogany Bed Stairs With Original Leather And Caning
About the Item
Fine English Regency set of bed stairs with rare original caned sides and leather. Each stair has a rich green leather step with tooled and gilt decorative borders. Hidden compartment on the top step, the caned front swings open, and a hidden drawer on the second step that pulls out. A very handsome piece that can serve as library steps, or as a unique multi level side table with storage. Wonderful rich patina that only comes from age.
