About the Item
One of a kind, practical size and very good condition Gothic sidetable.
In all our years of buying and selling Gothic antiques we never before came across a proper side table. This handcrafted and handcarved specimen dates from the late 1800s or early 1900s and it stands as firm and strong as the day it was handmade all those years ago. Over the many decades it has grown a marvelous patina and thanks to its practical size and shape we are certain this table too will soon grace someone's living space. Handcrafted out of solid oak and very well taken care after by former owners, this made-to-last table could hardly be in better condition. The beautifully hand carved, Gothic cathedral-like windows in the legs really take this fine antique to the next level. We would not be surprised if this piece too were to be picked up by a church or monastry, the place where it undoubtedly was originally made for. However, this rare and practical size antique also makes the perfect side table in the entrance of a Gothic (inspired) hallway, in a living room or even in a large bedroom. No matter where you decide to place this Gothic table and no matter what you want to use it for, it will give character to your living space like no modern table ever could.
