Japanese Antique Primitive Stand 1860s-1900s / Flower Stand Side Table Wabi Sabi

About the Item

Very old primitive stand made in Japan. It dates from the Meiji period (1860s-1900s). The top is oak wood and the legs are cedar wood. It was found in an old Japanese farmhouse. This unique piece is made from a natural tree branch. The legs are all connected, not spliced together. You can feel the strength of natural wood, which you cannot feel in ordinary furniture. It is also strong and stable with no wobble. Please enjoy decorating it with vases and objets d'art. This is a very rare piece of furniture with a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Weighs 7kg.
