Large French Neoclassical Maison Charles Brass Gueridon Side Table, 1970s

About the Item

This gueridon table from the 1970s is a beautiful example of French neoclassical design by Maison Charles. But, with its sleek, paired-down look, it also feels inspired by Art Deco design. A slim brass structure is dramatically curved to form the legs and the two-tiers. Each foot is a highly realistic hoof, delicately splayed to stabilize the table. Two quality, transparent-glass tops are elegant and minimalist choices. Light and summery, this small round table would be a pretty addition to most interiors.
