Antique Gustavian Work Table, Genuine Swedish Country Desk Table with Drawer
About the Item
Gustavian styled work table from the county Norrbotten in northern Sweden. The table was made during the late 18th century and has a faux painted leg frame. The wooden drawer pull on the drawer is original. An unusual detail is that the front and back of the table top are cut very close to the frame, almost level with the apron. The table has a good patina and is in untouched original condition. Natural wear with some minor loss of material under the drawer – see detail picture. Height to apron is 58 cm.
