About the Item
This piece is the Side Table No. 5 from the Vrksa Series.
The table is made using solid ash wood and it features vertically shaped strips of wood that have been bent and then carved to give them a smooth natural flow. The legs for the piece are also constructed using strips of wood which are exposed at the point where they meet the wooden top. Creating a fascinating piece bound to strike intrigue.
The Vrksa Series is based on bending solid wood to create the pieces, this has allowed us to design handmade furniture in a unique aesthetic in which the natural flow of the wood takes the reins of design. No two pieces are exactly the same because of the technique used; making each piece unique.
