About the concrete cubes tables:
The concrete cubes tables are handcrafted to order as one-of-a-kind pieces by German artist Miriam Loellmann in her studio in Rio de Janeiro. In 2014, shortly after her arrival in Brazil, she discovered the concrete cubes and created the first concrete cubes table, with 289 loose concrete cubes placed on the leather surface of the steel table, each cube exchangeable with each other. Her idea was that all the different and unique cubes together form the table top, an irregular surface, which resembles stones, and when touched, give a tactile experience that stimulate the senses, especially feeling. This unusual sculptural piece is both a work of art and a small table for use or decoration. The tables radiate calmness and simplicity, bringing joie de vivre and refreshment to any environment. For eight years, the artist has been developing the concrete cubes with the same freshness and fascination, always surprising herself with each creation. In 2021 Miriam Loellmann creates the color tones blue, red and green and in 2022 she launches the colored concrete cubes tables cc blue, cc red and cc mint and creates a further color tone: lilac (cc lila).

Miriam Loellmann
A main feature of German artist Miriam Loellmann's work is the exploration and combination of different materials in geometric compositions that stimulate the senses, especially feeling. Her work is based on simplicity and honesty. Providing access to sensory perception is a strong focus in her work. Miriam Loellmann works very craft with simple techniques, partly developed by herself. Her still young oeuvre is created almost exclusively in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. The tropical and very vivid environment, also the Brazilian modern architecture and the organic forms of nature growing into the city, always stimulate her anew. Since 2022 she has been using her living space as a private showroom that invites an international and local audience to experience her body of work. In the end of 2013, six month after graduating from art academy KHB Weißensee Berlin, Miriam Loellmann, who was born as the fourth of five into an artistic family, emigrated to Rio de Janeiro to devote herself fully to her path as an artist and her making of art. "I grew up in an environment where art, sculpture, ceramics and music were always an essential and formative part of life. This heritage of quality and richness I want to keep alive and pass on to other people", describes the artist.

- Contemporary Curved Coffee Table, Oak, Black Concrete by Donatas ŽukauskasBy Donatas ŽukauskasLocated in Rudamina, LTCoffee table "WAVE" The visual inspiration for the coffee table is a combination of natural wood and concrete. These two opposite materials combined, create a unique character of the product that has the coldness of concrete and the coziness of wood. The main goal of the project was to create not only a piece of furniture, but also a sculptural and elegant detail of the interior. The tabletop is made of natural oak, and the base of the table, resembling concrete in appearance, is made by pouring solid mass. The set task was technologically challenging - it was necessary to fuse wet mass and moisture-sensitive wood. The entire structure of the table is manufactured at the same time, so that the two materials join together smoothly and precisely to avoid any gaps. After the product dries, it is scrubbed, and the tabletop is oiled. The black concrete...Category
