Japanese Antique Wooden Low Table/Early 20th Century/Very Cool Table Top
About the Item
We have a nice Japanese low table in stock.
I think it was made from the Taisho era to the early Showa era (1912-1930).
It is painted black.
Two types of wood are used for the top plate.
The main part of this table is made of spigots.

The other part is probably sophora or walnut.
The joint part of the top plate is very good. It fits snugly without any gaps.
In addition, the beautiful curve of the leg is also wonderful.
The wood is in good condition with no major warping or warping.
The name of the maker is branded as "Iwaki" on the back, but I do not know what kind of person this person is.
It can be used as a sofa table or as a coffee table with a low center table.
The design is also very simple and very cool.
I think it would fit perfectly in a modern space.
Even in Japan, it is difficult to obtain such wonderful things.
Very rare.
