Early 20th Century Welsh Barley Twist Occasional Table, circa 1918
About the Item
Early 20th century Welsh barley twist occasional table. Made of oak with an intricately hand-carved top inscribed ‘ Gwynfa and Bont 1914-17’ in commemoration of those who fought in WW1. Supported by hand-turned barley twist legs, joined by simple stretchers and raised on hand-turned feet. Glorious patina to table top and barley twist legs.
