About the Item
Homura cocktail/coffee table is conceived, designed and created by award-winning artist and architectural designer Michael Olshefski of Primal Modern. Inspired by the primal mesmerizing effects of fire, this incredibly unique cocktail table showcases a flame-like figured Black Walnut centerpiece. The table frame - made of aluminum delicately angled and accented with figured Black Walnut - perfectly complements the centerpiece. The elevated table top design with .5" ultra-clear chamfered museum-quality glass is inspired by the concept of a museum case which both displays and protects the precious object below. Part of a limited edition of only 3 tables, each one is individually handcrafted by the artist and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.

A graduate of Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI- Arc) with the highest award for design excellence, Michael Olshefski reflects his architectural style in every Primal Modern work of art. His work is inspired by the ancient art and philosophy of Wabi-Sabi and minimalist modern art, architecture and design. Each museum-quality, one-of-a-kind piece is made from rare and ethically-sourced wood that is environmentally sensitive and properly prepared for indoor use. Each sensuous Primal Modern custom design is a unique work of art that will add beauty and drama to any space.
Michael Olshefski founded Primal Modern to integrate his passion for design, nature, precision craftsmanship and the art of making.
