About the Item
Oval Napoleon III Table, circa 1850
We present you this black small table with an oval top, an openwork gallery made of brass, and an ornament.
The table top is placed on the cabriole legs, which are connected with a stretcher in the shape of a board with a pinnacle in the center.
In the central section of the top, there is a recess with a black and white engraving, which is topped with glass.
Furthermore, the table legs are decorated with brass appliqués. At the bottom and at the stretcher’s height, the legs are connected around with the slacks of brass chains.
Presented piece of furniture is in original and very good condition. The brass appliqué on one foot is missing.
