About the Item
Rare organic modern, rattan base and oak top dining table by Rohe.
If you are looking for a mid-century table made of natural materials only for that organic modern look and feel then this Dutch design from the 1970s could be perfect for your home or business. The four legged cross base with the leather straps in the centre is like a bundle of rattan and this rare Dutch table comes with a thick round, veneered oak table top with a rattan edge all around. The strong metal cross underneath the table top ensures that this stylish table stands as strong and stable as the day it was hand-crafted and it will continue to do so for many more years to come. Tables from this era and made from these materials are getting ever more hard to find and this mid to late twentieth century rattan table therefor too is another one of our recent great finds. Apart from truly minor imperfections this wonderful specimen with the circular table top is in excellent condition and it will look perfect in your mid-century, but also in a more contemporary interior.
